Editorial - Palm Springs - Desert Daydream
What is it about the desert that is just so magical? The vibe, the lighting, the neutral colored palette of the landscape and architecture makes me so happy. My only complaint is that I dont get out there enough!
So, as I’m going through my recent work, I realized I never really got to share this shoot I did with Be Inspired PR for the Summer 2020 issue of Destination I Do magazine. Not on my website at least which is crazy as it’s quite possibly the work I am most proud of.
If you haven’t been to the Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs, I highly recommend you get yourself a room over there. It was the second time I experienced the property and it was just as peaceful and serene as I remembered from my first visit. To shoot there was a dream! Every corner of the place is beautiful and inspiring and makes it nearly impossible to put the camera down.
After utilizing every inch of the hotel, we drove up the street to capture a few portraits using the icon San Jacinto Mountains as our backdrop.
The Desert Daydream vision takes boho-chic to a whole new level. The rich gold and mustard yellow accents, dry florals and coper toned lounge decor set the perfect scene for his ultra stylish yet uber sophisticated event.
Weddings may be smaller right now but you can still make a huge impression with gorgeous details!
