Scripps La Jolla Wedding | Amy + Luke

Where has the time gone?  Seriously?  It’s nearly mid-November!  What a great year it has been for us.  I mean, I can’t even believe how lucky I am sometimes.  After finishing another successful, rewarding and busy wedding season, I STILL can’t wrap my head around the fact that THIS is what I do.  Taking photos of peoples most important and significant experiences.  It’s so surreal, even after four years.

I think about all the days I spent working in the corporate environment, wishing I could just escape and do my own thing on my own time.  Fast forward 10 or more years, here I am… photographing weddings like Amy + Luke’s.  I can’t begin to describe how thankful I am.

This couple… wow.  I have no words.  I usually don’t, but this one especially.  I’ve known Amy for a few years now and when I first saw her and Luke together, I fell in love!  What fun, playful, loving and dynamic couple.

It was such an honor to photograph their big day and I am so excited to finally share some images from their wedding at Scripps in La Jolla.  A big HUGE thanks to Wade Carr for all the help that day and for being my DD and traffic jam buddy!  I seriously don’t think I would have survived without you.
