Say hello to a wedding photographer in Los Angeles who’s seen it all and still gets excited about every moment of this work

MEET JILLIAN Rose

Since shooting my first wedding in 2007, there hasn’t been an unexpected surprise or crazy work condition I haven’t experienced. Pouring rain, hurricane-level winds, pitch-black darkness, global pandemics—you name it, I’ve navigated it...and I absolutely love it.

As someone who has an innately calm and positive demeanor, I can pivot and adapt quickly without missing a moment. I have extensive technical knowledge and a deeply artistic approach—but I’m never afraid to push the boundaries or try something new in the name of getting that one epic shot (you know the one).

When I think about what sets me apart, I think about my knack for connecting with couples and my calming presence. More so than my extensive experience or technical training, it’s the things you can’t teach—the ability to read energy, adapt intuitively,
and cultivate an atmosphere of ease—
that make for the exceptional images you deserve.

But before I was ever running up
bluffs and chasing sunsets
with crazy-cool couples,

I was the kid who made my friends dress up and hold props while I pretended to shoot
for a fashion magazine. Fast-forward to my college days when, after years of switching majors,
I tried photojournalism and fell in immediate love with the art of storytelling through photography.
I finally found the thing that allowed me to combine my curiosity about others
with my passion for the artform of photography—
and I haven’t looked back since.

At the end of the day, my responsibility as your wedding photographer isn’t just to deliver beautiful photos you’ll cherish forever (that part is a given). It’s to provide you the peace and comfort you need to relax and remain true to yourself in front of my lens. When that magic happens, incredible imagery has no choice but to follow.
